Long before it became a fixture on Gujarat’s cultural calendar, the Transmedia Gujarati Screen & Stage Awards began as a single idea in the mind of Rajkumar Jani — a night to honour the finest of Gujarati cinema, television and theatre with the scale, glamour and dignity of a national gala.
He shaped its concept, its format and its stage — and grew it into one of the state’s most respected celebrations of screen and stage talent, edition after edition.
